FCM with your sailing skills, I know that you could sail up a buncha rivers from Jaxtown to Leesburg and come within a mile of my home, sneak up my driveway and do something evil to me, but I’m still 6 months and 6 days younger than you!
I have already begun the requisite whining and pleading for a Baskin Robins ice cream cake. It must have a chocolate cookie crust and a layer of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. I’m picky when it comes to my birthday cake.

Anyway, it’s 7/26/39.
Stopped drinking over 2 years ago and stopped smoking 8 days ago, so the only way to celebrate is mj, which I might have enough of to fashion a pin joint. I’ll have to coerce my SO into taking me somewhere crowd-less, maybe Mt. Diablo.
I can’t wait until I’m 63. Okay, that’s bullshit; just thought I’d throw it in to see how it looked in print. Unfortunately it looks awful, just like it does in my head.

On Wednesday, July 3rd, I turn 40. I will be in Mt. Vernon, Virginia- George Washington’s slave plantation home.
I’ll be working for ABC News, rehearsing a show that goes live on the 4th. We’ll work late, methinks and so I won’t get to celebrate at all. This does not thrill me, but I need the work and so am grateful to have it.
