I just found this thread, but gave $150 to the American Red Cross via their website on 8/30.

Total up to $7570.

For the sake of rounding off the amount and pissing off the dissatisfied, $180 to the Salvation Army, for a total of $7,600.

Damn delay, $7,750.

$200 to the American Red Cross hurricane fund the other week, and filling out the matching form for my company’s charitable foundation.

I stuck $40 in a box at work, so we’re up to $8340. I wish it could be more, but hopefully they’ll be taking donations for a while.

Mrs. Franchi contributed $100 w/ $100 match for AT&T so I guess that would make

drewbert - have your company (or the person responsible) read this: Who gave the partial dentures? If they still want to take clothing donations, please get them at least sorted & washed first. But I doubt that anyone in the NO area will take the clothes.

I haven’t put in my contribution yet - my company will be matching funds so I need a receipt.
