SDMB, Virtual, Presidential Election

Bush, but then I’ve been a capitalist pig since the age of 5.

Bush.(can I vote twice? )

Gore. Bush scares me.

Gore

Ike, you phrased it best. God help us all if that mental minus becomes the next leader of the free world.

Already voted – Bush.

Bush

Zev Steinhardt

Bush. Gore scares me.

Gore.

Yeah Uke!!
Nader voters, please, please, please, you are voting for Bush. It’s an ugly fact, but it’s true. So please reconsider.

::biting her tongue to not lash out at the “vote for Nader is a vote for Bush” sentiment::

Rasa lash by all means. But we both know it’s the truth.

For God’s sake, vote for Gore. I don’t want to spend the next four years hearing my English parents-in-law asking “Do you know what your stupid President said yesterday?”

This guy (I found him at http://www.vote-smart.org on the list of candidates.)

If he’s not on my ballot, Nader.

You are right. In fact. rasa, doll that she is, brought this to light in a recent thread.
They did a study, and found…

“Dr. Jeffrey Cook revealed the committee’s findings at a press conference. “We have indeed determined that a vote in support of Mr. Nader is akin to a vote in support of Mr. Bush,” he stated. The study also brought to light several other “vote for” scenarios. It was determined that a vote for Bush was essentially a vote for Gore, a vote for Gore was a vote for Nader, and a vote for Buchanan was a vote for whoever is the Communist Party’s candidate. A vote for the Communist Party was a write in vote for an incapacitated Henry Kissinger, while a write in vote for Kissinger was essentially a vote for a bio-engineered Nader-Bush hybrid. Voting for the Nader-Bush hybrid would basically result in a vote for an Al Gore-Katie Bush bastard zombie lovechild, and doing so would equal a majority vote in the Senate that would repeal the 22nd Amendment, which limits Presidents to two terms. “At that point we assume Mr. Clinton would enter the race,” said Cook.”

I’m voting for Nader. If I couldn’t do that I’d vote for Bush.

I also urge any Gore supporters to check out this thread

One more for Nader! (of course, too bad I’m only seventeen and can’t vote.)

Gore

Gore.

The major party candidate who doesn’t want creationism taught in public school.

For those of you who don’t follow GD, that’d be Gore.

Only Gore or Bush?
To paraphrase Calvin, Is having something amputated an option?

Nader voter here. HUGE amounts (relatively) of Nader supporters here in Duluth, MN.

Gore.

Goregoregoregoregore.

GORE.

But if I had my druthers, I’d be voting for Bill Bradley. sigh

So nice of you to tell me what I know, Moe. I guess I should suck up my principles and vote for Gore now so I don’t singlehandedly hand Bush the election.
