*I have come to discover that, if you write French phonetically [“all simply”? Lost me here], it resembles a new Creole language unknown before today. But this is only French [“all simply” again; must be idiomatic?], though its appearance is different. Tell me that I am not the first person who has thought of this?

That’s my take on it anyhoo. Keep in mind that I haven’t dealt with French in about five years, and the quoted stuff isn’t exactly standard French anyway.
