Its a thread maybe 2 months old, about making music by rubbing a wet finger on wine glasses. Tried search, but came up empty.

Not quite.
The half-remembered thread I speak of regards making actual music using a series of wine glasses…that or a wine glass instrument (a harmonium…invented by Ben Franklin(I believe)).
Like I said, searched, and came up empty.
A harmonium uses metal reeds. An armonica uses glass. Is this Cafe Society thread the one you were looking for? Who would I go to to purchase my very own glass armonica?
