Searching for a book

This is on behalf of a friend. She is looking for a book that describes a british warship of Nelson’s time. It’s an oversized, illustrated book probably aimed at children. It shows cutaway views of the various decks, with the typical activities there.

It’s somewhat similar to this book by David Macaulay - but that describes a merchant ship of an earlier time.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

This book is mainly about Nelson’s sailors, but there are some detailed cutaway views of ships.

Perhaps this book? I got this one for my nephew and it’s pretty cool.

I own the book you’re looking for. I can’t put my hand on it, but I want to say it’s just called “HMS Victory” or something. If that’s the case, Amazon isn’t showing it. I got it at the Portsmouth Naval Museum, so that’s no help. It’s specifically about the Victory, I believe.

It’s not a childrens’ book, but “The Anatomy of Nelson’s Ships” might be similar to what you’re looking for.

A slightly belated thank-you for some useful suggestions.
