Sorry to go o/t…Chula, how did you come up w/your username? I ask because my great aunt is Mexican Indian and would call us this as a nickname (my sister and I) and she said it w/great affection…in Spanish. lol

I don’t recall ever being called “chula” in real life, but I looked it up once in my Spanish-English dictionary and was amazed at all the possible meanings. I’m sure your great aunt meant it in the sense of pretty, but it can also mean: amusing, charming, attractive; smart, showy, flashy, vulgar, gaudy; proud, jaunty; bold, outspoken, saucy, obstreperous, truculent; slick, rascally, villainous; elegant, graceful; brilliant. I’d like to think all those apply to me. 
It also can mean, according to my dictionary, “low-class woman, coarse woman; loud wench, flashy female, brassy girl.” Those probably also apply to me, but I’d like to think not.

Thanks for the info! I never knew all that but I would say for the most part, the first definitions describe me somewhat. That’s too funny. She was a riot, she died at 112. And she didn’t even eat yogurt
