I’ve been getting this message:

When I try to search. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Yup, frequently. I don’t want to sound like a Whinging Winny, but a site that is supposed to be an archive of information, really needs an adequate search function.
If I search before 300 seconds are up, now it’ll give me the “you need to wait x number of seconds” message, but it still gives me that weird message. Odd. I’ve never had it before. Oh well. I think I can still search for new posts, though.
It does not like certain words, such as World.
Please, please could we either do away and away with the multi-minute search limit, or admit defeat?
Under “User Hostile”, it says “The SDMB search engine.”
