Seating at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco TX?

Anyone been to Floyd Casey stadium in Waco, at Baylor University? My daughter’s high school has a playoff game there this coming Saturday and we are wondering what the seating is like. Are they benches, benches with backs, or seats? Trying to figure out if we need to carry in our little portable seats. Thanks.

This page has several Quicktime VRs on it. Looking at the 4th from the bottom, the seats they show are just benches with no backs.

Bwhaaaa… waaaaay more times than I want to remember.

Given the current state of Baylor football, it’s been a few years but I don’t think things have changed in the interim. It’s aluminum bench seats with no backs. Many people do brings cushions or those “hooking” chairs with backs so they can lean back.

Entrance to the stadium is off Waco’s main drag/thoroughfare… Valley Mills Drive.

A thought… there are a limited number of premium box seats down low that are chairs with back supports. The number though is, as mentioned, Limited.

On a slightly different note… the Elite Circle Grill is pretty good, if you’re looking for a place to eat that’s not too far from there.

Bari’s pizza & pasta on Valley Mills (I think), is on the other side of 35, and is a kind of homey pizza, pasta & calzone type place. It’s decent and inexpensive, and probably enough off the main drag so that you can get a table pre or post game.

The Circle has a number of goot eatin’ establishments. It right down Valley Mills from the stadium just the other side of I-35. The Health Camp has been serving burgers and peach shakes for probably 50 years plus. Righ behind it, [urlhttp://restaurantsandcafes.blogspot.com/2006/07/rudys-in-waco.html]Rudy’s has really good BBQ. Believe me, you won’t leave there hungry.

Oh man… I forgot about Rudy’s. It’s actually a chain, you know. They have multiple locations in Austin, one in New Braunfels, and one in Waco that I know of.

I desperately wish there was one in Dallas. Dickey’s and Sonny Bryan’s just don’t cut it.

Thanks to everyone for your help. Fantastic and exciting game! Looks like we’re going to Nacogdoches next week.
