I work in the travel industry. Just tap in your flight number on Google and presto! information appears about the flight. From Google, on google … you don’t have to google anything else, or go to the airline’s website, or check flightstats or flightaware or type out the airline name in full. Try it! Make that jump!
Probably not a secret but the Federal Government is too big. And not even sensical at times.
Nope. Not a thing.
That’s pretty awesome. Thanks.
When you call in on a live radio show, and actually get through, and there is this delay where they say they can’t hear you, (making it seem like it’s a phone problem or something), it’s the delay being reset.
I know 231 people at my company are getting laid off the second week of January. I know exactly who, and I interact with some of them on a regular basis. Awkward. For me, that is, they have no idea.
That would make chitchat really difficult. My poker face isn’t that good.
I taught a graduate-level research class for a few years. During the first class session, I would ask, “How many of you think that you’ll get an automatic 4.0 if your roommate commits suicide?” A few hands would go up. One or two students would pipe up and say that although it wasn’t true at our campus, it was definitely true at another one.
Then I’d say, “If you can prove that this policy actually exists anywhere, at any university, I will give you an A in this course.” The students would grin and some of them would get very excited and vow to return with the proof.
After that, I’d never hear another word about it.
