Secrets You Know Because Of Your Job

Enlighten us. What info are you privy to due to your job that the average civilian would be unaware of?

If I told you, I’d have to kill you.

I know about a bunch of PlayStation titles that are in production but haven’t been announced yet. For example, I spent 30 minutes yesterday playing a Morpheus game.

Well, if I told you, they wouldn’t be secret. :dubious:

Should’a been an engineer, management kisses the ground they walk on in my business.

T-shirts graphics, at least the more involved ones, are very difficult to print. It’s pretty much a craft.

You should clean out your belly button before you go in for surgery.

My husband has DOD clearances and he won’t even tell me what he knows or where he’s been.

The poor parts of America look a lot like the third world.

In the course of my legal career, I have become privvy to all sorts of confidential information. That’s all I will say.

I’ve learned that knowing the secrets is much more a burden & much less fun than I ever imagined. You know the things that you don’t want to know. It seems that you never do learn the things that (potentially) would be interesting to know.

I find most secrets to be boring as hell.

This is my experience. The thing I learned that I couldn’t say anything about are exactly the kinds of things I would want to make a big stink about to get changed. Things happen that while technically not illegal are highly unethical and would give companies a nice black eye if the public knew what was being done to them.

I think we may be taking the idea of a secret a tad too literally. I was aiming for something along the lines of Big Mac sauce being thousand island dressing, but cooler.

Alright. Here’s one. It even has the added benefit of actually being true.

There are no alien bodies stored in the basement of the Pentagon. Not one.

Massive Disappointment

Why should I go on at this point?

The secret I wish I could learn is how certain people get and keep jobs. One would think that a business wants to generate a profit and it’s usually pretty clear who contributes to that and who doesn’t. And yet in far too many cases, the slackers remain employed. It’s a mystery to me!

It’s not a secret that retirement is so much better!

Mine’s worth a lot. Think about it:

I manage tests for a publishing company. Like, state tests, standardized tests, college entrance exams, etc.

Boring, but still pretty good secret stuff.

All kinds of Navy submarine stuff.

Air Force subs are cooler.
