Most times, when I am lying down, looking at the white ceiling, I can see yellow if I relax my eyes, in the shape of octogons. Has anyone ever had that, is it something bad?
I see grey bubbles.
I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Sparkly things might be real bad, I hear.
Seeing some visual noise when looking at a featureless surface is known as the Ganzfeld effect and it’s normal. Personally, I see flashes which look like a very faint field of TV static (from when TVs had static instead of blank blue screens) overlaid over my vision, and have since I was a small child.
If this effect is so strong as to actually impair your vision, you should talk to a doctor about it. But otherwise, it’s just part of the myriad imperfections of our bodies.
