So they’re like any other fruit - of variable quality? Makes sense.
I had jackfruit once, as an addition to a salad. I was expecting something fruity, and what i got tasted meaty. I was very surprised. And not all that pleasantly.
The texture of what i had was kinda like canned tuna fish, and the flavor was bland, and not terribly appealing.
Now I’m curious to try it ripe.
