Seinfeld Question-- Kramer's Income Source?

(Newman: Don’t tarry, my good man. I’m behind schedule as it is!)

Kramer gets a healthy monthly stipend from the State of New York, Department Of Goofy Comic Relief Neighbours. Jack McFarland from “Will & Grace” is also a recipient, and Phoebe Buffay was occasionally on the same dole, though she had a better work ethic and was employed most of the time.

Kramer was a silent partner of the “Soup Nazi”…“No soup for you!!”

“His buttocks are sublime.”

Which led to my favorite exchange:

**Kramer - ** “What did you want to see me about, Mr. Leland?”
**Mr. Leland - ** “Kramer, I’ve been reviewing your work. Quite frankly, it stinks.”
**K - ** “Well, I’ve been having trouble at home and, uh, I’ll work harder. Nights, weekends, whatever it takes.”
**Mr. L - ** “No, no, I don’t think that’s going to do it. These reports you handed in, it’s almost as if you have no business training at all. I don’t know what this is supposed to be.”
**K - ** “Well, I’m just trying to get ahead.”
Mr. L - “I’m sorry, there’s just no way that we can keep you on.”
**K - ** “I don’t even really work here.”
**Mr. L ** - “That’s what makes this so difficult.”

And RickJay, thanks for the info on the DoGCRN. It’s nice to see tax dollars going to a worthy program.

No one has mentioned the manzere or the bro that he developed with George’s dad. Did he ever make money on that?

Bob McC

Frank had a fight with the potential devolper on that one (he wanted to date Frank’s estranged wife). There was also of issue of fighting with Kramer over the name.

Kramer had his coffe table book optioned for a movie. He actually did make money from that project, leading to a brief retirement in Florida.

He also tried selling used records with Newman, as well as old raincoats with Morty Seinfeld.
