Great pics, js. I love the one of Rock of Cashel. Thanks.

Good to see you made it back safely! Did you get your hurl?

Cool pics. Glad to see you made it back in one piece.
The Pic entitled “living history 1” makes ToF look uber-wierd. Like his head was stuck on or something. Very funny.
Oh and the rare poster is micilin or cum-gullet to his friends

I did! And a ball, though I can’t recall what they’re called. When we were at Dunbrotty (sp?) there was a guy giving a hurling demonstration (it wasn’t very involved) so that was a funny coincidence. Maybe I should re-scan the one of you in the back room with better quality so that you look better. (I was afraid all the files would be huge at high quality.)

I think my other sis has ten or twelve rolls of film, but she’s down-state, so I haven’t seen them yet. Those thirty-four were just a small sampling of the nine rolls of film I had at my disposal.

Nice pics.

Who is who in the doper pics?

The stick is a Hurl and the ball is a Slither*

Say hi to the two lovely sisters for me. Great to meet y’all

waits for some culchie to give the jackeen a slap upside the head and correct something

Here’s a basic explination of the rules.

international diplomacy from right to left = me, js_africanus, jjimm, TwistofFate

Did I miss anyone?

Crap should have known there’d be a stupid Irish way to spell it

ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH I meant left to right about all the pics.
Where’s a edit feature when you really need it.

Mods? Help. You can delete this post if you fix it.

Thx.

I’d like to apologise for all the rude hand gestures. To be honest, I can’t really remember making them, though I do seem rather pleased with myself for doing so.

Counting the number of pints on the table in the international diplomacy photo, I would imagine that you could be forgiven for just about anything (short of sneaking into the States and voting for Bush…did I just say that?!). Besides, with my intransigent shirt collar giving me the '80s vibe, I appreciate the distraction.

Nice pics! International diplomacy looked very jolly, merry and no doubt diplomatic, and just now I see js slouching through a boneyard. Looking just a shade sinister, if I might say so.

(Don’t get all offended - my brother looked a an ID pic of me taken for work or for a bus ticket, and decided it looked like a Romanian terrorist. (I have NO idea why he picked on Romanian,) And, btw, that was a few years before the ,.um. recent terrorist events.

Finally got the photos from the other sis. Took long enough.

Anywho, some explanation about one of them. The photo titled “Conspiracy Proven” has a story to it. When we went to Kevin’s Cell in Glendalough, we looked across the lake and up the hill. It looked like there was a white path leading up the hill and that it lead to something. I took sis’s telephoto camera and spied it. It looked like a building, an old stone one. We all took a look and we all agreed on that interpretation. I took some photos. When we got down from the K’s Cell, we asked the info office woman about it and she insisted that it was just a rock outcrop. Bullshit! we all thought. From that angle, and the added distance, it was much more difficult to tell. Finally, look at the photo yourself. Is that a rock outcrop, or is that a building?

Regardless of all that, the photos are in the same album as linked to above. Enjoy.

Thanks for the pics! Seeing those pictures of the Guinness Storehouse rooftop bar just brought a tear to my eye. ::sniff:: Such a beautiful place. It was as if I’d been welcomed home.

And the people I met in Dublin were the friendliest people I’ve ever met anywhere. Hands down my favorite city on the planet.

The dates on the photos are messed up. That’s gonna cause headaches a few years down the road.
