I had the best boss ever a few years back. Was going through some rough shit and told her that I was having a hard time. She looked me square in the eye and said, “You need a break.” When I told her that I had plans for the remaining vacation days I had, she told me to screw that, just take the next week off and for me to start feeling better.
Damn, I miss her.
Another messageboard I post to has an option to ban yourself if you’ve paid to post. I’ve used it a number of times when I’ve needed to get work done.
