Mrs. HFUN has asked me several times jokingly about why I have been sitting at home instead of out on a date when I’ve talked to her. Someday I’ll get back out there, but the thought of it makes me want to throw up right now. I know she means well, I really do but even so, ugh.
Thank you all, but my back just hurts. A lot sometimes, but nothing like the tragedy of Sticks and of Taters, or the difficulties of Rosie, The Cute One, with her house.

Today’s plans include some defilthyfyin’ of da cave and chikin fryin’. JDD and Partner are comin’ over around fiveish to imbibe some adult beverages and gnaw on some chikin with us. Always fun havin’ them around.

Takin’ a break from house cleanin’. So far the kitchen is cleaned, guest bedroom, study, livin’ room and dinin’ room are all dusted. Next up master bedroom and master bath, then vacuum and mop and I’ll be done. Go Me!
Both the hubby and I were up at 5:30 this morning. I couldn’t sleep and neither could he.
I spent most of the afternoon and part of the evening with my Dad at the hospital yesterday.
Today, we have car things to attend to, along with a couple of other errands. Tomorrow, we’ll head back down to the hospital.
Since I know y’all love TMI… I’m wearing a bra today with removable straps and one of them came undone while I was setting up for this show. BOMBS AWAY!!

I’ve gone back to au naturel. It’s only red when the light hits it right. However, I have recently started getting serious about makeup. I can apply eyeshadow correctly now (even Bare Minerals with a brush! Fancy!) and, thanks to Blonde CoWorker, I now have some for-reals lipstick. Good morning, all!! We were up late watching Men In Black, so we kinda slept in till some time after 7. We’ve been to breakfast and did a few chores. Shortly, I’ll be going into my studio for a while and **FCD **plans to work in his shop this afternoon. Sometime this weekend, we’ll do laundry, make a trash/recycling run, and run the mowers. I’d also like to wash the windows… correction, I’d like the windows to become magically clean, but since they won’t, I may try to clean them myself.
It’s a loverly fall day and I’ve got the house open - huzzah for fresh air!!

Husband has to work today (not normal for him to have to go in on Saturday), two hours earlier than usual, and he’s not feeling well on top of that, but we really need the money. 
Not sure what I’m doing today, Saturday not being a great day for job-hunting-type activities.
