I just realized it is Fall Break this week and I don’t have to go to class on Wednesday. YAY! Now I can catch up on the reading and studying I haven’t gotten done yet. YAY!
OK, the day got somewhat better!
It took me a long time to accept my own flaws - and by a long time I mean like sometime last year. I can’t even say there was one great a-ha moment… just me all of a sudden not worrying so much about my imperfections. Maybe I finally made enough mistakes to learn that the world doesn’t end when you screw up. I don’t know. But I am happy.
I’ve been making an effort to eat more whole foods, so I brought carrots with me to work this morning. About five minutes after eating them I began to feel very nauseated, and the nausea persisted to such an extent that I had to go home, and one row of saltine crackers and a ginger ale later I’m STILL pretty nauseated. Carrots!
Just out of Mumper curiosity, was this, you know, in the morning???

olives I’ve read some of your threads and posts about all this and all I can say is with what all you’ve been through it looks like you came out ok. Seriously, you come across as somebody with her head on straight in spite of a lot of obstacles. I have to admire that.

Thanks swampy! The rain appears to be intermittent at this point. Let’s hope it shuts off for good in about 30 minutes when I’m walking to class.
Awhile back I had a lady send me an email about ordering, in bulk, something that I make. I sent her an email back clarifying what she wanted and I never heard back for at least a month until today. So, the order is on for 15 of the most annoying little buggers that I make and I have to finish them by tomorrow night. I actually already started them because I figured even if I never heard from her that I could sell them, but I’ve only done the easy part so far. So after I get home from school tonight there will be a significant amount of creative vocabulary coming out of my mouth as I work on these things. 
StickyBuns it does me good to know that you will be doin’ sump’n that is creative, productive and allows you to practice your vocabulary words.
Howdy from da cave! I decided to just leave and come home. Of course I need to pack up steaks and beerverages and head over to the church house to begin the evenin’s festivities in a bit. Lookin’ forward to this!

Thank you, what a lovely thing to say. It’s not like I got ‘‘okay’’ overnight, but I’ve always been working on it. I can’t take all the credit, though - I have some pretty awesome people in my life. If you knew how great my husband is you’d understand my refusal to screw that up.
I’m preeetty sure Alien was obliquely asking whether there may be a chance the size of your family could be growing in the foreseeable future…

Whew - what a day!! It was after 4 when we got out of the office. I managed to send of the first draft of the first drawing from heck (not bad enough to be from hell) and I’m hoping any changes or corrections will be minimal. I also hope they’ll be waiting for me in the morning so I can get them wrapped up.
We stopped at the little store on the way home to pick up my latest check. My texting mitts are moving well - at least 11 pairs have sold so far - yay!! And most of my pottery seems to be gone, so I need to get this next batch dry, glazed, and in the kiln.
Supper will be whatever tonight.
Oh, and I was wearing mismatched shoes all day - I didn’t realize it till I was outside my spousal unit’s office waiting for him to get done so we could get out. One black loafer, one black flat pump. Classy… 
I can imagine… And yes, it went through my mind as well, although I wouldn’t have brought it up on my own. It’s how people think 
No doubt about it - homemade soup is definitely better the day after…

Our Re-fi is DONE! We are saving $496/month and we are shut of Chase. Win/Win. We will be getting $1200 back, because Chase sold are loan during the Re-fi process and the new place wouldn’t release the pay-off, so the Credit Union over paid them anbd they’ll have to give it back.
