Home, exhausted. **FCD **was asking me how long I intend to work. There’s the possibility of a 4-ish-year contract supporting several programs, some aircraft, some shipboard. Works for me - I had no long-term plan in mind, but 4 years sounds good. Plus I’d become a permanent employee with vacation and everything!! Woohoo!!
Supper will be grab-whatever. My sweetie doesn’t feel like eating so I don’t feel like cooking. Funny how that works!

Today’s still a mess. No EDD resolution; hundreds of calls and redials, every single time having to wade through 4.5 minutes of messages and phone trees before getting the message “Sorry, we’re busy, call back later.” WTF happened to a busy signal, or a queue? I well and truly hate this system, with a passion.

Howdy Y’all! Home from Evening Prayer over to the church house. Tomorrow is The Feast of St. Luke so we had what I guess could be called an Eve of The Feast of Saint Luke service. It included two really og awful hymns about saints. Dirges. Stately, staid Episcopal dirges is what I call such hymns. The kind where you stand there holdin’ the hymnal and go 
we’re supposed to sing??? Other than that 'twas a nice service.
