The term self-righteous prick could apply at various times to just about any SDMB poster, including me, but seriously? Twickster? Of all people, you pick Twickster?
I mean, yeah, she’s a mod, so she’s going to have to lower the boom now and then, but I have trouble imagining anyone who is much less self-righteous or a prick!

I am not self-righteous, nor a prick. Sure, once in awhile I may make a fleeting reference to someone’s poor grasp of a matter or two that should be painfully obvious to even the most doltish clod, but it’s not like I can’t quit any time I want to, and it’s not interfering with my job or home life. There was that one time when I came to shouting at a Texas Board of Education meeting, and didn’t know how I got there, but I’m sure it was a one-time thing.

Myself, I had nothing but respect for her, when she was a poster, thought the complaints about her modding were all about her getting practiced or posters who were overly sensitive. Until this occurred;

Any and all of us can be self righteous pricks, depending on the subject, the “events of the day”, and our own general mood at the moment.

I’m not self-righteous. It’s just that my tastes and preferences in food, music, literature, television, and other visual and performing arts are correct, and thus superior to yours. I am also far more open-minded than you, and more open to new experiences. If you have dislikes for a certain kind of food, music, or something else, you’re just a closed-minded, intellectually challenged and suspect individual that I can only pity. There are things I dislike, but that’s different, because my dislikes are more justified than yours.
Concerning twickster, there was this thread not long ago. Bad precedent

I have no idea who is saying what here. I’m assuming that twickster is not referring to herself in the third person, but other than that, I have no idea what is being said by whom.
I also don’t see any scurrilous accusations here. If the worst you’re ever accused of it “getting your knickers in a twist” (if in fact you are the one being so-accused), I think you’re living too sheltered a life. Way too much outrage here.
There are a few genuinely self-righteous SOBs on the Dope, and many other posters who are occasionally self-righteous. As was pointed out above, you have to be kind-of self-righteous to plunge into a debate in the first place. But while you may at the moment have a mad on at her, Twickster is not an egregious example of either self-righteousness or prickitude.
Just coming in to nominate myself for my contribution to that thread.
I hadn’t seen this thread before, but it sure is a lot of people with their knickers in a twist. 
The moderators are unpaid volunteers who from time to time make calls that some posters disagree with. Still not seeing excessive self-righteous prickitude. I’m seeing a moderator who got some complaints and responded in a way that seems to have upset some people, who may not themselves use the word “cunt,” but would fight to the death to defend other people’s right to. Of the people participating in that thread, Twickster is not the first one who comes to mind wrt self-righteousness, and no one seems to be being a prick at all (note - I didn’t read more than the first page, so I may have missed rudeness further on).
