Yeah, I guess so. Maybe what I was really getting at is that it seems a pointless way to police. Further still, as the offence also seems utterly ridiculous to me, I’ll butt out at this stage (pun most definitely intended)
I don’t think that it is prejudiced in any way to say that it is ordinary or “regular” behavior to be using a restroom for its intended purposes. It is unordinary, or “irregular” to be:
- an undercover cop
or - using a public restroom for anonymous sex
I was not making a statement about homosexuality either way…
What makes it insulting? I haven’t been propositioned by a homosexual in some time, but as I recall “Thanks, but no thanks” worked fine. Are you offended by the fact that someone finds you sexually desireable? Maybe I have too much self esteem, but I think everyone finds me sexually desireable, even with considerable evidence to the contrary.
