I just got back from my senior all night party and we had a hypnosis show where a hypnitist brought up random kids from our graduating class to be hypnotized. He brought the number of kids from 20, to 10, to 6, 3 girls, 3 guys, who he felt could be hypnotized. He then put them into the trance, with all the relaxation talk, counting, etc etc. What would then proceeded to happen was completely unbelieveable. I’ll try to remember them for your amusement, but you would really have to see it to understand just how great it was (esp. considering these are my classmates and friends!)
-Had them all have the urge to urinate, he allowed one girl to get up and go to the bathroom, but everytime she stepped off the stage, she would forget why she got up. So she would walk back and sit down, then immediatetly sprint toward the end of the stage, over and over. He allowed a guy to go, but had his hands “glued” in his pockets, and he couldn’t get them out. The guy was pratically in tears over this, screaming how he couldn’t get his hands out.
-Told one girl she was the next American Idol and she proceeded to sing “I will survive” as she danced about the stage. Three of the other victims were made judges. Some of the things they said were hilarious and dead on impersonations of their american idol counterparts that they definetly could not do if they were not in that trance. The one girl did that woman perfectly, w/ the clapping and everything.
-Convinced one girl she was Brittney Spears and got her to do the whole “Hit me baby” song in front of the entire senior class, doing all the Brittney-esque dances. She is a pretty shy girl, and this just blew me away, esp. considering she knew all the words as well as all the dance moves. She must have spent many hours in middle school practicing that in the mirror. Meanwhile, had three guys be back up dancers, grinding w/ eachother… oh man… Meanwhile, the guys could not look away from her because the hypnotist told them how she actually was Spears… their jaws were on the floor…
-Got two guys convinced that they were a duet in Vegas singing “Its Raining Men”… they didn’t know the words other than the chorus, but it was pretty hilarious.
-Got all the guys to sing ‘Bye bye bye’ by N Sinc. They did all the positions and stereotypical boy band stuff. It was so hilarious.
Now enough of the singing, heres some other stuff
-Everytime the hypnotist said “microphone”, the victims would smell a terrible smell. The look on their faces was priceless.
-Got one guy to go back to his seat and feel normal again, but when he heard the word “thank you”, he would become enraged with the hypnotist, meanwhile one of the girl’s was the guy’s body guard and would defend him. Made for some hilarious word exchanges.
-Told two guys that their belly buttons were missing… the one guy actually got pretty angry demanding that he get his belly button back.
-Got the guys to be body builders and show off their muscles, meanwhile the girls were all over them, thinking they were the hottest guys on the planet.
-Everytime he said a certain word (forget what it was), two guys underwear would become tighter. One kid was clawing at his pants like an animal.
-Got all the people to forget their last names. He would ask them, they would start saying it, then just stop, and get this really puzzled look on their face. Actually there were two exceptions, one kid could only sing his name, the other would feel someone pinch his ass every time he said it. He began “Ker-” and jump back and grab his ass in pain. He refused to say it again.
-Had convinced them all they were visiters from the moon and could only speak moon language, one of them was the president of the moon and could translate english. The languages that they used were absolutely HILARIOUS, I was pratically crying I was laughing so hard. The hypnotist was asking the translater questions, hed make some sounds in a clicking noise, then the person who was asked would respond, he would translate to english… wow. Interestingly, after talking to them after, they honestly could not understand english during this. Actually they were moon ballerinas. After the interviews, they put on a little ballerina show.
-Had them stick out their tongues, they couldn’t put them back in.
-Had them convinced the entire audience was nude. One of the guys was absolutely loving this.
Well that’s all I can remember. Anybody else have any experiences w/ hypnosis that they would like to share? As far as the question to whether this is real or not, I am absolutely convinced. This was the funniest, most entertaining thing I have ever seen in my entire life, no lie. They taped it and I purchased it. I will never forget this.
Also, I would like to know how the hell all this was possible. Seeing people, some of whom were skeptics, lose all control, was actually a humbling experience. We don’t have nearly as much control over our minds as we think we do.
I want to have a long thread on this, I am just in awe.
