Yeah. Angus was BK’s thing, and now McDonald’s has done them one better. But, if it’s like the McRib, it’s not going to matter much, as it won’t last.
And I have no inherent problem with the ad. The premise is just too stupid to make me care about how the psychiatric workers are displayed. The description makes it sound worse than it is.
But what’s worse, that the Burger King needed to steal the plans, or that McDonald’s had them in the first place?
I miss Tom the Dancing Bug. 
That strip used to be in my local alternative press rag ‘The Flagpole’.
I have no problem with the ad. But, it’s been years since I’ve eaten at McD/BK/Wendys/etc, so I’m not their audience.
I have mental problems, and I am not offended.
I don’t know any person in their right mind who would be offended by this ad.
I don’t know if I’m being whooshed or what, but that may just be brilliant.
I too am a bit of a nut, and IME the nuts tend to laugh at themselves more than anyone else. There are serious issues with the stigmatization of mental illness in society, but this ain’t one of them.
