However, the longest I know of, if we’re count all types of movies, including documentaries, animated films, foreign films, and the ones only a few people know about, then Happily Ever After, made in 93, which is the sequel To Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, has to take the prize. 56 years.

But is Happily Ever After a sequel to the 1937 Disney feature? Or is it just a sequel to the centuries-old tale of Snow White?

Answer: Disney lawyers made sure the producers of Happily Ever After did not infringe on their copyright. Thus, you will find no dwarfs using the names Disney invented for them in 1937. Nor does Snow White in Happily Ever After look like the Disney character.

And one long one has to go to The Birds II: Lands End, which came 31 years after the original.

Anybody know why Tippi Hedrin was in both of these, but played different characters? Did her character die in the 1st flick?
