After looking at the (drool) trailer for Serenity a few times, the question pops up: Is Book in the movie? I know Ron Glass is listed on IMDB as being in it, but we see no evidence of him in the preview, nor is he shown in any of the cast pics I’ve been able to find online. Anyone know any official word on this one way or another?
He’s in. Apparently he had prior commitments that prevented him from having a huge role in the movie, but he’s definitely in it. Which is a good thing.
Joss has said that the trailer just doesn’t have much Kaylee or Book in it, and that he will correct that deficiency with the next one. 
Book is my favorite, so I sure hope he’ll have a bigger part in the next movie!

If you go to the official Serenity site, you’ll find a picture in the gallery that shows the Preacher in all his white-haired glory. 
Rumor is that Book is no longer on Serenity the ship, that he’s gone off on some sort of personal mission, but he is absolutely in the movie, acting as some sort of moral advisor to our favorite tight-trousered captain.
