Serial Killer Action Figures

I have been in numerous chat rooms, and people in the collection inside are saying that a company is coming out with plastic 8-inch likenesses of Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Jack the Ripper.

I know it’s tasteless, but what are the implications if all the serial killers involved are dead? Can family members of the said dead serial killers actually sue for royalties? Would they want to?

People will buy them, surely.

With all respect, how could any company come out with a likeness of Jack the Ripper?
Nobody really knows what that likeness would be…like.

I wonder if the Jeffrey Dahmer action figure will be sold with a complimentary recipe book?

Generally speaking, yes, although the laws differ from state to state.
