Series where the titles are in alphabetic order

The Hunger Games
Catching Fire
Mockingjay

(and there are only three of them, so it’s disqualified for that).
The first four books in the Green Knowe series happen to be in alphabetical order, but the fifth ruins that.

The Transformers series was in reverse alphabetical order until the fifth one:

Transformers (2007)
Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
Dark of the Moon (2011)
Age of Extinction (2014)
The Last Knight (2017)

There’s a strange one that applies for Iron Maiden for their 80s studio albums, that I discovered on my ipod, which discards the words ‘A’ and ‘The’ at the beginning of titles when ordering them:

  • Iron Maiden
  • Killers
  • (The) Number of the Beast
  • Piece of Mind
  • Powerslave
  • Somewhere In Time
    and it only just misses with the next one:
  • Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

The haphazard nature of it makes me think it was coincidental.

The forums right here on the Straight Dope Message Board are laid out thematically, not alphabetically, but until the introduction of Cafe Society, they happened to be alphabetical:
