It turns out that the process of bundling a cat into a vehicle and driving Kitteh to the vet stresses most of them out so much that it can exacerbate any health problems they might be having. A competent and reliable vet who knows the ins and outs of the feline form as well as our current vet (who is AWESOME) *but who also drives out and makes house calls for a not-exorbitant fee *would be most excellent.
