My friend and I both have Civ 5, and we want to play each other. Sadly, I’m on a PC and he’s on a Mac, and has the Campaign Edition, meaning we can only play each other by LAN. I believe there’s a way to do this remotely, through a VPN? Does anyone know what I have to do to achieve this? I’m not THAT computer literal, and all my Google-Fu turns up is instructions that may as well be written in Chinese. I found a few programs that promise to make it work, but they seem to be PC only… Any help?
LogMeIn Hamachi is probably what you’re looking for, it sets up a network tunnel between two computers. I don’t recall the exact instructions, but they’re pretty self-explanatory.
