Seven Heavenly Beings in Outer Space?

A few days ago, I saw a program on millenialism and that good stuff on PBS (that’s KQED for Bay Areans) called “Apocalypse!” Aside from the cheesy exclamation mark, it was very interesting, but one thing made me really wonder. The program discussed David Koresh and the Waco Thing, and included a tape of the discussion Koresh had with some FBI people during the standoff. He was talking about Russian cosmonauts seeing seven heavnely beings while in outer space. (He then went on to say that he met these heavenly beings while studying in Jerusalem, but that’s not the point.) What I want to know it, what’s up with Russians meeting angels in outer space? Is this a sort of Branch-Davidian Urban Legend, or is there any basis in fact for the story?

You think Koresh would just make shit up?
