Candles good, light from TV ok, daylight fine and dandy, big blaring overhead lights on at night - just sick and wrong - there are some shadows I just don’t need to see.
My preferance?
Start mid afternoon ish, continue through late afternoon watching the shadows mellow and lengthen, let the sky turn yellow, then red, then blue, then black. Watch the stars come out and talk of nothings and everything and make love again, and again and again. Until its so dark you just see the shine in thier eyes.
If time is a consideration and I can’t have everything… moonlight and a fire. (Candles are all well and good, but campfires are better. Fires that are bigger than me are best.)

Fluorescent light bad. Candles, fire, etc. good.

Total blackness is best. I can live with candles or really dim lights. Sex during the day would have to be with someone I really, really, trust.
Lights on, definitely.
I prefer to have some warning when I’m about to get slapped in the face.

Lights off early in the relationship…then once they’re no longer scared of the site of me naked, it’s time to have some dim light…candles are nice too.
Just SEX would be quite nice, I don’t care if the lights are on OR off.

There are quickies, done almost any time and any place – well, nowhere public that is.
Never with real bright lights, but sometimes soft ones, though I have attached Christmas lights to a dimmer switch and used those and she just loved it. (Spent some time sitting on top of me, playing with the damn switch too. Neither of us were real sober that night.)
A few candles, scented or;
Black lights. I like them and not those cheap bulb thingies either or those mini things but the 18 inch ones.
Lights that flicker to background music or;
Starlight and/or dim fire light.
It is so cool to rig up a colored light in a lamp to a dimmer switch and adjust the level for effect (doesn’t work on Black Light) or have, like I do, a colorful selection of 40 watt ‘party’ bulbs ranging from red to green. Then you can change the color depending on the mood.

Those light tubes connected to one are cool and so are neon lights, but they tend to be a bit too bright.
Anytime, anywhere, I can see in the dark anyways, but a little candlight ensures that she can see my amazing physique???

Lights on, not glaring, but soft. I can’t imagine sex with the lights off. I keep getting this mental image of “Wait! That’s not my <insert erogenous body part here>!”

Doesn’t matter if the light is on or off – my eyes are closed anyway.
When I’m… you know… …down there… I like a heavy overhead light and a doctors reflector strapped to my forehead.

Really bright lights so i can scout out zits better during sex, but I don’t bother to turn on lights when i wake hubby for sex.
Mebbe it’s just me, but I don’t generally think about the lighting… Tho the glow of CNN can be a mood killer…
Prior to May 4th of this year I was a ‘dim light’ kind of guy.
After May 4th and the arrival of the Chancling it’s really wherever we can find the time. Makes it frantic and fun but the lighting really isn’t a factor.

I’ve only gotten laid once on 4 May, incidentally, and the lights were on then.
