Sexiest Video Game Character?

Viconia, yes, but I’d put Jaheira over Imoen. Bodhi too.

I’ll third Kate Archer from NOLF. Much more interesting than Lara Croft.

I don’t care what age she was supposed to be, Mission Viao from KotOR is hot.

Mission and Viconia… I guess I likes me some blue women. And here I thought I was partial to redheads.

I don’t exactly remember Viconia… Was she the Drow? But Jaheira was just annoying, and I never understood why she was so popular. Imoen I liked, and considered mentioning her, but she’s more in the “cute” category than “sexy”.

Yes.

i do agree. Carth and Atton are equally hot, but since im preferably married to Atton i cant say no, even though i would say Carth is hotter

Mission is fourteen, but i will admit she is pretty hot, even though im a girl, i will admit that

i 100 percent agree bro, even though im a girl, i will admit she is pretty smokin’

I guess in the five years since this thread died, there’s been a few new candidates. Like Poison Ivy from Arkham Asylum.

Zombie thread!

So I guess Hsien-Ko, the girl ghost-zombie from Dark-stalkers and Capcom vs Marvel, needs to be mentioned:

Miranda from Mass Effect 2?

Holy shit, I’m amazed not just that someone is saying this at all, but that it’s your FIRST choice! The Boss is actually one of the only video game characters I have ever had any attraction to. She’s also one of the only - possibly THE ONLY - believable female soldier, not just in any video game but possibly in any form of fiction media at all.

There are so many female soldier/supersoldier/assassin/sniper/ninja-chick/general ultra-badass characters out there, it’s become a total cliche. Usually they’re stereotypically “hot” with hourglass figures and torn clothes. I’ve always thought this is bullshit. These kind of women do not exist.

But a woman like The Boss - a plain-looking (pretty but dignified and understated) woman who wears practical BDU outfits and a bandana and makes no effort to look like some kind of hooker; who speaks plainly and roughly and never tries to sound sexy or “cute” - this is a woman who you could imagine actually went through the training, took the yelling, did the pushups and pullups, suffered through endless performance ratings and evaluations, studied for all the exams, went to the specialist schools, completed the special forces training, and managed to work her way to the top of the operator community because she knows what she is doing - not because of her looks.

Three cheers for The Boss!

Nice to know that your opinion has not changed in 5 years!

Anyways, I have to admit that I haven’t played many games recently with hot women in them. The best I can come up with right now is Katherine in Catherine. In fact, I don’t see why Catherine is supposed to be the perfect woman–sure, she’s pretty, and it’s hard to resist someone who just pops into bed with you, but Katherine is much hotter.

Her personality leaves a lot to be desired, though. I hope it’s because of what was going on in her life.

Ah, yes. I especially love the dialogue cut scenes featuring her ass prominently in the foreground with Shepherd in the background.

A thread about sexy video game characters comes back from the dead, and no one makes a joke about necrophilia? You guys never cease to amaze me. I have half a mind to add Jill Valentine to this list, but then I don’t actually find her that attractive. It’s hard to balance pretensions to humor with actual preferences.

Selphie, Yuna and Rikku have already been mentioned, but they do crowd the top of my list. I also have to put in words for Rose from Legend of Dragoon and Rena Lanford from Star Ocean: The Second Story - can I step aside for a minute and say that these are two of the greatest and most underappreciated RPGs in history? Also, speaking of Metal Gear, what about Sniper Wolf? She was a complete badass.

Guys in video games, on the other hand, tend to be too good-looking for me, as a result of either their masculinity or femininity being ludicrously exaggerated. That said, Squall is definitely a good-lookin’ dude, and Claude from Star Ocean 2 has an everyman charm.

As embarrassing as it is for me to admit this, I kind of have a crush on Garrus from Mass Effect. (Though I’m certainly not the only one; I’ve heard some of the game developers say that they kept him in the second and third games specifically because the female fans would riot if they didn’t.) Thane’s not too bad, either, though he’s a bit too emo for me.

This is funny because I don’t even play video games. But my boyfriend has talked so much about Mass Effect that I might as well have played the damned thing myself.

Oops, I forgot pics.

Am I the only one who doesn’t get the girls in DOA or Soul Calibur? With the possible exception of Xianghua (always my favorite for looks and actual usability, though I don’t like the games much), they’ve all got about the same sex appeal as two water balloons taped to an hourglass for me.

As it happens I’d forgotten her name - and found it by googling “Mass Effect 2 + ass” I knew who that’d bring up…

I’ll toss in Humba Wumba from the latest Banjo-Kazooie game. When they introduced her on the N64, she was nothing to speak of. Then, they turned her into a simmering cauldron of barely-legal sex.

Squall and Irvine, although the latter’s personality causes him to lose some points. FF8 definitely had the most masculine guys of the series.

Leliana, from the Dragon Age games.
