Almost every time I use Limewire to search for something obscure, the first header in the returned list reads “[my search term] + sexy girl has shaking orgasm during sex.” It also almost always has exactly 59 download sources. It never appears when I search for something popular—it’s always something really obscure like Richard Belzer or City Boy or Return to Forever that triggers it. What the hell is it, and more importantly, why and how is my particular search term appended to it?
It’s a rogue server that automatically returns the same results no matter what you look for. The file itself is probably malware, and is so named because people assume Limewire users want porn.
Next time you get this result, consider right-clicking and blocking this server.
Also, look out for results that return the exact same name as your search. Most of these are the same type of deal, and should be treated accordingly.
ETA: Oh, and the reason you don’t see it when looking for popular things is that the rogue server’s results are drowned out by the other legitimate results.
I didn’t know about that–thanks.
Pshaw. Such stereotypes.
And she wasn’t even really shaking that much.
Right-clicking on what? What selection would block a server? What browser are you referring to? (Limewire doesn’t sound like a browser, but I’m not familiar with it.)
This sounds nice, but you’ve totally lost me.
You’ve answered your own question.
OK, I should have checked.
Still doesn’t sound like a browser as I understand the term, but it’s nothing I’ll ever need to know about, so it doesn’t matter.
Dude, what’s the deal?
Beats me. It’s just a matter of terminology on my side. I might try different browsers; I won’t be using gnutella clients. I’m not judging anybody’s actions. I’m just trying to learn a new term to see if I can use it in the future.
So I can’t figure out why you’re hot and bothered by it. No biggie.
LimeWire is a file-sharing program. You download video or music from it via peer-to-peer connections. LimeWire is like Napster or, distantly, iTunes. What’s not to get?
This thread is so not about what I was expecting.
You can say that again. I don’t even like girls and I was horribly disappointed. From the moment I saw it I couldn’t wait until I got home from work to check what the hub and the bub was all about. So much weak sauce and so few french fries.
I know the rule merely says the title must be descriptive, but I cry misleading advertising.
Besides, sexy gnutella users use gtk-gnutella.
I thought it was an Onion headline.
I demand compensation for the dissapointment this thread caused!
I was actually going to ask this same question… thanks for stepping in
The disappointment! I demand the thread be retitled or that someone direct this thread to properly treat the topic of “Sexy girl has shaking orgasm during sex.”
All you have to do is go on Limewire and search for “sexy girl has shaking orgasm during sex.”
The first result will be “sexy girl has shaking orgasm during sex + sexy girl has shaking orgasm during sex” but ignore it despite its tempting offer of TWO sexy ladies.
In fact, I think she was faking it.
