SF story - "Pass the Mint Julep"

To all the SF readers out there…

I’m trying to identify the author of an early alternate history short story called “Pass the Mint Julep.” It’s a “South wins the war” scenerio (before Turtledove claimed that territory). I’ve heard it mentioned once before as an antecedent to Dick’s “The Man in the High Castle” but I’ve never been able to track it down.

Any clues?

Are you sure about the title? There’s a classic SF story about a Confederate victory called “Bring the Jubilee” by Ward Moore. It was published as a novella in 1952 and expanded into a novel the next year. The original story is currently in print in “The Best Alternate History Stories of the 20th Century”.
