Shapes of political entities

Sweden also looks like a limp dick, with Finland as the ball-sack. Early Euro coins did not have Norway on them, Norway not being a part of the EU, and people talked about how the coins had a dick and a sack on them. They put Norway on after 2007.

Croatia looks like a croissant.

Korea also looks like a penis. Uncircumcised. The area around Gwangju is the foreskin.
Roddy

New Jersey looks like a pig nosed man wearing a kepi.

Louisiana looks like a boot or sock that a puppy has chewed at the toe.

The contiguous United States looks like a hornless bull with a fat ass.

Vermont and New Hampshire look like they are 69ing each other.

Pennsylvania looks like North or South Dakota with a giant cyst at the NW corner.

You could grab the Gulf tails of Mississippi and Alabama and use them as pinafore flags.

Ohio looks like the head of a cow, from the front.

Saskatchewan looks like pure boredom.

Chile= tapeworm

Turkey looks like a big giant turd, with a break off piece to the west.

Vietnam looks like a piece of cauliflower, and Thailand broccoli.

Thailand looks like an elephant’s head – appropriate since the elephant is their National Animal.

France calls itself the Hexagon.

… And surely I’m not first to point out that Colorado has the shape of a two-paper reefer before being rolled. :stuck_out_tongue:

Tasmania, well…

(NSFW)

You mean semaphore, yes? I don’t remember a great deal about flags in HMS Pinafore

I always thought that my home state of Pennsylvania looked like a house with a chimney. The chimney was actually bought from New York so they would have an outlet on Lake Erie.

I’ve always seen it as a man in a plumed hat sitting atop a grinning giant’s head.

I think the Irish Sea looks like the head of a gormless man with a bulbous nose.

When I was little, I characterized Wisconsin as an upside-down boot with shoestrings when we moved there. And upper Minnesota around Lake Superior is commonly called “the Arrowhead” 'round here.

Not itself, only the mainland.

Portugal’s mainland looks like a face, profile left, with part of mainland Spain’s providing the hair (I’ve also heard the theory that the 'do was designed by the same dude who designed Wolverine’s).

Spain calls its mainland the bull’s hide.

I find it funny that based on that Google search, everyone agrees there is a rabbit on the moon but differ on how it is shaped.

FWIW I always saw it as pointed to the left with an up swept ear.

Wisconsin also gets the “shaped like a mitten” description (though probably less often than Michigan’s Lower Peninsula does). Door County is often referred to as “the thumb”.

Thailand’s shape is normally likened to an elephant’s head. Myself, I’ve always thought it looked like the trunk of a dismembered corpse.

Ireland has been said to look like a teddy bear (its “arse” is facing England, naturally)

Long Island looks like a fish.
