I don’t know what it was called but it was about a Mormon who was having an affair with a woman on his rounds who only used him so she could have a baby because her husband was impotent. It was an Australian short film on SBS. Would any one know what it was called?
Are you talking about this film?:
Yep, thats the one. Thanks Wendell. I owe you one mate. Cheers.
I’m a big fan of David O’Reilly’s animated shorts:

Extended Play (1982) - The dangers of playing MiG Alley
There was one short film I liked that I cannot find the title for. It was first-person about a film restorer tracking down a lost film. He would find added snippets and re-edit the film that accounted for the new clip, but the storyline would change.
The last scene was a film historian that explained the original restorer went crazy and Xed out all the eyes on the films he was restoring.
Norman McLaren’s Neighbours
(There’s probably a zillion other NFB shorts that I could name as well, but that one’s as good as any.)
I’m not sure if it qualifies (it runs 29 minutes), but I just saw Dancing Outlaw. It’s the story of a bizarre and fascinating character from West Virginia.
My personal favourite: Father and Daughter.
Sometimes zombie threads have uncommon goodness hidden within.
That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life.
Wow!
This has made my Saturday moring much more pleasant than I expected it to be.
Have y’all seen this?
Dragon
I can’t link to it, but FunnyorDie has a short film (~25min) starring TJ Miller and Lizzie Caplan called Successful Alcoholics. It covers about 3 days in the life of a professionally succesful alcoholic couple. It’s really well done, starting out pathetic but really funny and slowly deteriorating to rock bottom.
A particular favorite: 7:35 in the morning.
The Wallace and Grommit shorts, especially The Wrong Trousers. The train scene is awesome.
I was going to start a thread but this seems a better way to go.
We just signed up for IndieFlix. Groupon deal made it seem low risk.
There are very few titles that look even vaguely familiar to me. I am hoping that some of the films mentioned above are available.
