John Mace to me is a tall (6’ 4"-ish) leathery skinned caucasion man of few words in his late 50’s. He has a solemn look, sort of always looking down in deep thought – until he has something to say. But I grab part of the visual image from a Little League coach from my town with the same last name. That Mr. Mace was a bit of a hothead, though and didn’t have nearly as many intelligent things to say.
It’s just what I see.

I’m terrible at constructing pictures in my head, and I kind of enjoy experiencing you all as pure words.
That said, some people whose names reference or sound like people I’ve actually seen evoke that person. For instance, I always picture **RickJay **like this(devils optional).
