Isn’t it odd that we all have the same mental picture of Qadgop the Mercotan?
My mental picture of MeanOldLady (but without the baster).
You must be looking at that picture wrong, cmyk, because I am the one in the middle. I picture you more like this.

This may be cheating since I have access to the super-secret stealth moderator picture database, but I have an actual photo of Colibri. I’m sure he won’t mind me sharing it.

Yep. And I had no idea you have boy parts. “Moon” in my subculture is just thoroughly feminine.
I don’t think I can adjust too much of my mental image at once, so for now, you look like this.
There I go making that Zoolander face again. I think I had that hairline when I was 12.
Even though I’ve seen Neverending Story, I didn’t know her name was Moonchild, or I probably would have chosen differently. My SDMB name is actually in reference to my Mom, who [thinks she] is an astrologist – Moonchild being a euphemism for the sign of Cancer.

If we’re in the same Universe, this must be you, except with maybe a whispy blond mustache and a lightning-quick left-handed draw.
BTW, I may not look it, but I bet I could give you a run in the cat-whispering arena.
If we had avatars, I think I’d use that for mine. I don’t know about the whispy mustache, though - it wouldn’t be very feminine.
I always thought St Germain would be a sharp-looking, slender, dark-haired, good-looking, poetic, maybe a bit moody guy, who also had a bit of cowboy in him. Awesome! Then I found out he’s a she, and I don’t know what she looks like at all!
Baker looks like someone I know–small, slender, short-hair, glasses. In, y’know, baker-y clothes.
And I love the OP image of me…so, so close!

Even though I’ve seen Neverending Story, I didn’t know her name was Moonchild, or I probably would have chosen differently.
When Bastian shouts her new name near the end of the film, it’s mostly lost in the wind and storm. Some claim this was an intentional choice by the director and sound mixer to allow viewers to “hear” whatever name they would have given her in Bastian’s place. But yes, those of us who read the book know he’s shouting “Moonchild,” which was his mother’s name. Only, I suppose, probably in German, since that was the original language of the book… Mondenkind, I think it is.

Yes! that’s Qadgop in my head as well!
Not me. In my head he’s the Dr from Gilligan’s Island.

:: Sigh ::
I miss My Name is Earl.
Hmmm.
Qadgop - looks like Dr Gregory House, except no limp
Elendil’s Heir - Definitely long-haired and bearded, kind of mystical - like a dwarf from The Hobbit movie, except not short
Marley - Rocker - Jerry Cantrell-ish
Bosda - Not sure why, a combination of Darstar from Solarbabies and the alien/light/orb from Flight of the Navigator (for your voice, prior to Pee-Wee Hermanizing)
Bricker - opposing counsel from My Cousin Vinny
MeanOldLady - her voice is Wanda Sykes, but she is much prettier
John Mace - don’t know why, but you look like Snake from Escape from New York/LA
Gary “Wombat” Robson - no description, but your name always sounds in my head like the WWE announcer “GAAAAARRRRRY “WOMBAT” RRRRRROOOOOBBBBSSSSONNN!”
Handsome harry - total gangster, like Pretty Boy Floyd
SSGt Schwartz - You bear a distinct resemblance to Viggo from GI Jane, except no 'stache
That’s all I have, not very good at this…
I think quite a lot of you look like this. But I love ya anyway
Somebody do me and I’ll pop back in and give you a 1-10 on your accuracy.
mmm

This was my first thought as well, but the consensus seems to be against us.

Ok, that’s fuckin’ awesome. Although, he might have better skin. You, of course, are this guy, now that we can see you.
Mean Old Lady Somewhere I saw a photo very close to thisone, but she had a slightly mroe sardonic expression. That’s you - a sardonic Angela Davis. (In case it’s not clear this is definitely meant as a compliment!)
If we had avatars here, this would be mine. You can all think of me as that if you like.
(I used to have that on a t-shirt - I can’t remember what I did with it.)

You, of course, are this guy, now that we can see you.
If you’re referring to the flying wombat/pterodactyl/California condor type death from above thingy, I wholeheartedly approve.
It’s too bad the “title” field on the SDMB is too short for “flying wombat/pterodactyl/California condor type death from above thingy.” I would absolutely use that.
