Ah, I missed this in my absence. How about some newer stuff? Goose seems to be the rage for jam band fans, of which generally speaking I am not into super lengthy stuff but I get the impression they’re not really like that. Nonetheless, this particular track, “So Ready” is just fucking badass. I think anyone that likes anything remotely funky would have to agree.
This song is a band that I know the bass player in called Soul Criminal. They are a recording minor band but they’re really good! Not all their tunes are funk, but in a similar '70’s flavor to that Goose song “So Ready”, this brings it.
Man, these are both excellent examples of modern funk. Thanks for sharing!
