What’s funny is Leisure Suit Larry 6, which didn’t have any copy protection or anything like that whatsoever. Because according to Al Lowe (who has all the copy protection solutions on his website) they knew for a fact that nobody would be able to make a copy of a CD.
In reflection, it amuses the hell out of me to know that Leisure Suit Larry and the Castle of Dr. Brain were produced by the very same guy.
Man, hockey games were like that for almost a decade. Always shoot for the corner of the net, the goalie couldn’t cover it. I remember playing some hockey game for the Game Gear and setting it to 10 minute periods. After the half hour, the score would be like 79-3. It was great for my 8 year old ego.
EA eventually smartened up and made better AI around 2000, but those were the days…
