Does anyone know of shareware that could help count votes on the SDMB. I’m thinking of something that goes through a long string of text and counts recurrences of smaller strings within the string. The pollster could cut and paste the thread content into a single long text file, and run the program on that file. You’d get a lot of false recurrent votes for words like “the” and soforth, but the genuine votes should show through easily enough, barring typos by posters. That almost never happens!
