No doubt. It seems like every month or two we hear of another incident in which relatively new Chinese infrastructure fails spectacularly:

This incident seems no different: the aquarium was only two years old.
Soon the Chinese will attempt to build the world’s tallest skyscraper in just 90 days. I won’t predict certain disaster, but I’ll assert a far higher probability of disaster (during or shortly after construction) than we would tolerate here in the US.
