Ha yeah right. People seem to have a problem with parking on the wrong side of the pumps. I’ve seen big queues at gas stations with a pump free to use. I just drive past everyone, pull ahead a bit and pump the gas. You don’t pull in the other way because the station, in my example, is all one way.
And in almost the same amount of time driving (and many more besides riding in the car), I’ve never seen anyone do that.

Took that in New Dehli a few years ago, though rather than ‘shoddy’ it could probably be termed ‘normal’ 
Could be cultural, I’m from the UK. Perhaps we are more willing to do the extra 2 yards of walking?
