Shoes?

I have always loved Easy Spirit shoes, for any job that requires significant standing/walking. They have (fairly) recently started a male line. The shoes are generally wider than average, and very comfortable, but I think you have to have the right foot shape. I’d suggest you try on the shoes.

I love my Sketchers, too. Very comfortable for walking, but they don’t have the support necessary for standing in place for long periods.

I have some Naturalizers, and with some insoles, they’re fine.

I’ve been wearing the same pair of Ecco shoes for a couple of years now and they still look great! I highly recommend them for incredible comfort and durability. I’m also a tech and wouldn’t consider buying anything else.

I own 6 pairs of Eccos and love them. I’m on my feet 12-13 hours a day.

Bates! Good enough for the United States Marine Corp, well, then probably good enough for me, too!

I can wear them for days. And I’m sure they do, too.

Which Eccos do you guys wear?

Let’s see, I’ve got the Track boots, high and low, a pair of docksiders, a pair of leather gym shoe type, and two pairs of dress shoes.

Whatever shoe you pick, use at least 2 pair of them. Shoes are not made to wear more than 1 day in a row.

I have no problem with shoe comfort. What kills me is heat. I’d be barefoot or wear sandals or sockless Bass all the time forever if I could. What shoes are not HOT?

There are plenty of sneakers that are made with mesh or other materials that breathe well.

For shoes, many Birkenstocks are roomy enough that there’s surprisingly good ventilation, since there’s room for air to circulate round your feet as you walk.

This is the style I wear. Link:http://www.eccocanada.com/fusion.html

Really? I’ve gone all my life wearing only one pair of shoes for months at a time. That’s interesting.
