I’m in the mall a few days ago and walk by a kiosk with about half a dozen people gatherered around so I take a closer look. It’s the one and only Krazy Krab shack. WTF? There is a three foot square “beach” with hermit crabs crawling around and all are inhabiting brightly painted shells with such motifs as yellow smiley face, psychidelic and I think one even had an STP logo and racing stripes. How the hell did I wander into a SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon in the middle of Metro Center Mall? It took all my willpower to keep from commenting “them’s good eatin’.”
The other day when I was at the mall here in TN, I noticed a hermit crab kiosk. Is this a new fad or something?
Personally…I find hermit crabs boring, but maybe I’m missing something.
Well, there is a Spongebob Squarepants movie coming out soon…
