My wife set the rules for our daughters. I remember the dollar rule. The girls didn’t wear makeup until they were 15.

I might have been more lenient. I knew better than to question any of my wife’s rules.

15?!?! Yeesh, your wife was strict. Most of my friends started playing around with make-up when we were 12. And that was almost thirty years ago.

Mrs. Aceplace may have been super-strict about makeup, but she apparently had no problem with piercings.
