If your hunting will be like my last Arizona quail hunt, with daily 5 or 6 mile hikes up and down canyons for several days, then I’ll second enipla’s recommendation of the Ithica Model 37 featherweight 20 gauge. It’s a couple of pounds lighter than my other gun (a Browning 12 gauge pump) and a hell of a lot easier to carry at the end of the day.
