How exactly did I end up as the sole representative of the opposition here?
I generally agree with ya there Lamia…And regardless of me being a misogynistic devil worshipining racist…Although when I consider that I have been worshping an evil and buxomy black woman all these years, the gist of the debate has gotten a little too far out in left field for me.
While my comments have been critical, they are based statements that you have actually made, as opposed to the extremist positions that you have been attributing to your opponents. “No man is an island”, and if you insist on taking an opposing viewpoint as an opportunity to make personal attacks on other board members, I am not entirely unaffected. If I have given the impression that I think that you, personally, are a bad person, I apologize. I realize that I have not expressed my objections particularly clearly in this thread, leaving room for misinterpretation. I do, however, think that the debating tactics that you have employed are bad, and are not conducive to a mature debate. While I understand the aversion to a person’s sole contribution to a thread being the admonishment of another poster, I find the alternative of ignoring disrespectful behavior to have problems of its own.
I would appreciate it if I were simply asked to clarify my position.
