Only children who don’t assault other children should be allowed to go to school. There needs to be a zero tolerance policy toward school violence; and before we get into splitting hairs, I think people can tell a difference between throwing a paper airplane and sending a kid to the ER.
So which is it? “zero tolerance” or telling “the difference bewteen throwing a paper airplane and sending a kid to the ER”? That’s exactly what “zero tolerance” is all about- there is no difference beteen any “act of violence”- any & all are treated with “zero tolerance”.
“Zero tolerance”= “zero judgement & intelligence”. Monkeys can be trained to make zero tolerance judgement calls.
What it seems you want is a “firm but fair anti-violence policy”. if that’s want you want- then you do NOT want “zero tolerance”.
