Should I write an online review in this situation? (details inside)

It’s definitely the case here and it’s been very helpful to hash it out. You’ve nailed it on that last post.

To recap, I told Nina that I wasn’t comfortable writing the review and tell cute Angie to text me if she wants to connect. This was three days ago and I have heard back from Nina or from Angies.

Today the accountant was over and we were chatting about the situation. Originally Brother Alan moved his shop a couple of hours away and only recently came back to pair up with Nina. This did not go over well at all with Jeff. By the time this all happened, my design work was nearly done and I had put down a large deposit.

Apparently Nina contacted at least two other clients who were in the middle of the design phase but hadn’t paid a deposit yet. She tried to poach them from Jeff. I think this is a dick move and it makes me glad that I made the decision that I did.

Yep, that extra information is useful. Sounds like you made the right choice.

Agree you did the right thing. Good thinking. Congrats on avoiding a sticky situation.

Ref this bit …

I assume that’s supposed to read “… I haven’t heard back …”

Again, yes. That’s the second typo you’ve sniped in this thread

You definitely made the right call, even if you’re only confirming it after the fact. Absolute dick move.

Sounds like an episode from Flipping Out.

Jeff is Jeff, Nina is Jenni and Alan is Gage
